The challenge for housing construction is to carry out investments that will both satisfy housing needs and facilitate the emergence of strong supporting communities. The design process should take into account the new paradigm of thinking about old age, i.e. « aging in place » and « New Aging », which assumes that we age throughout our lives. The space of the model Warsaw townhouse house will be designed to support the emergence of strong and supporting communities.

Le défi pour la construction de logements est de réaliser des investissements qui satisferont à la fois les besoins de logement et faciliteront l’émergence de communautés de soutien solides. Le processus de conception doit prendre en compte le nouveau paradigme de la réflexion sur la vieillesse, c’est-à-dire le « vieillissement sur place » et le « nouveau vieillissement », qui suppose que nous vieillissons tout au long de notre vie. L’espace de la maison de ville modèle de Varsovie sera conçu pour favoriser l’émergence de communautés fortes et solidaires.

According to habitat for Humanity Poland, currently cohousing in Poland does not exist, so it is difficult to say what legal form would be most suitable for it at the construction stage and then at the management stage of the existing housing estate.
Selon Habitat for Humanity Poland, le cohabitat n’existe pas actuellement en Pologne, il est donc difficile de dire quelle forme juridique lui conviendrait le mieux au stade de la construction puis au stade de la gestion du lotissement existant.
However, there is a number of self-built housing cooperatives – a bottom-up initiative, which serves as a means of meeting the housing needs of its members (not third parties). Members of the cooperative together design a plan of developing the property, so that they create a ‘tailor-made’ neighborhood fit for the group’s needs. Toutefois, il existe un certain nombre de coopératives de logement auto-construites – une initiative ascendante, qui sert à répondre aux besoins de logement de ses membres (et non de tiers). Les membres de la coopérative conçoivent ensemble un plan de développement de la propriété, afin de créer un quartier « sur mesure » adapté aux besoins du groupe. Ils résolvent ensemble les questions relatives au financement et à l’exécution de l’investissement. In the meantime, Polish government is preparing a new housing programme for the times of pandemic crisis.
